Patricia Dussureault
Respite worker
“After four years, I left my job as coordinator for caregivers of the elderly to become a caregiver for the Alzheimer Society. Years later, I became a respite worker. For me, this title is precious and I feel honoured to be one. Taking care of your loved one, pampering them and making them feel safe is my daily routine. I want you to have peace of mind during your respite, so you can make the most of it and recharge your batteries. Often, when I smile, people say to me, ‘I don't remember who you are, but I know I love you!’ What more could I ask for?”
